QuantumCor is a medical device company focused on the development of minimally invasive therapeutic options for the effective treatment of mitral valve regurgitation.

Today patients suffering from mitral valve regurgitation are managed with life style modification and drug therapies until their disease has progressed  to the point where it is critical.  At that point today the only method to repair a diseased mitral valve requires extensive open heart surgery subjecting the patient to high risk surgical procedure and a  lengthy recovery time. 

We believe minimally invasive endovascular (catheter) devices and techniques will allow physicians to treat patients much earlier in their disease and to move the procedure to the  cardiac cath lab where the procedure can be done in an outpatient of limited stay basis.
